The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that Prime Minister Edi Rama will go to prison because of the thefts he has committed.
Berisha made this statement during a conversation with the residents of Astir and Kombinati in the capital. He said that this is also the reason for bringing the statute of limitations to the Assembly so that Rama will answer to the law even if he leaves the country after being overthrown from power.
"Edi Rama in prison. As harsh as it may seem, I tell you that the thefts committed by that man are greater than all the governments during a century, since the Albanian state was founded. There is no other place for him, except in prison. This is exactly why we brought the statute of limitations to the Parliament. Why did we send it? He loses the election and runs away and waits for the statute of limitations to come back. There is no statute of limitations anymore. Even if the sun goes down, this will follow him until answerable to the law." Berisha said.
He also said that corrupt ambassadors report and slander to harm the Albanian opposition!
"I can never accept that the most unimaginably corrupt ambassadors can report and slander, it doesn't matter who, just to damage the Albanian opposition. I tell them that I will protect every interest of the nation at any cost Albanian, of Albania, of the democrats. There is only one guide and that guide will be the national interest of the Albanians, it will be the truth, it will be their freedom. I cannot accept that decisions are made to open and close schools in other places in my country, to close kindergartens because they have terrorist connections, because of political disagreements in another country. I will categorically not accept the attitudes of corrupt individuals in many ways. Remove that yes help at a time when they are seriously harming my country and my nation.
Go to Google and read, Sali Berisha, the gang of Elbasan, Shkodra or Durrës, and you will find hundreds of articles where I attack the gangs, not that they threatened me because I don't ask at all, but they threatened you. I attacked the gangs because they threatened ordinary citizens, threatened the neighborhood, threatened journalists, and I raised my voice against them. When I had power, you know very well where they went and where they will go again. Now to protect the government's ties to crime, Edi Rama's ties to crime and corrupt and others who corrupt him come out and report to his government that he has ties to this gang and that gang. I don't take it personally, but I take it Albanian, I take it for my nation and my country. I say here in front of you, shame on you and you will answer for this in your country and in my country. In my country publicly. I will take these out one by one. There are really excellent friends, but among them there are corrupt people from top to bottom who speak and read what this corrupt government says. The statements of Edi Rama's hostage, Lulzim Basha, are taken to his government as true. But these are not such important matters. We will remain as the invincible party of national interest."Berisha declared
