Sali Berisha described the National Council as the most qualitative that the DP has elected in its history, which according to him will bring the opposition to power.
"The National Council takes on the mission of restoring the free vote of Albanians and the rotation of power. I have great confidence in the members, the supporters of the DP, that we will move confidently towards our mission, the restoration of the free vote of Albanians and the opposition in power."
The National Council convenes at one of the most interesting, most special times in the entire history of political pluralism. A powerful movement like a true awakening of Generation Z has erupted in Albania as a liberating movement. The DP has welcomed and strongly supported this movement and will multiply its efforts for its successes” , said the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha.
Once again, the leader of the DP reiterated to his supporters not to be influenced by the slogans "Berisha in prison", or those that describe the opposition as sold out, but to support the protest in every way.
"Regardless of what they say about us, we will strongly support that movement. I salute those hundreds and thousands of democrats who left everything in Tirana and the districts and lined up there as citizens in protest. Support is vital, but since they are young and are the digital generation, all social networks must be in their support. Honorable members of the National Council, democrats, supporters of the DP, my call is, massive support in all ways for this movement that will soon give Edi Rama the place he deserves," Berisha emphasized.
In front of members of the DP National Council, Sali Berisha said that the protests he organized against the government "hurt" the Rama government.
"In a series of protests, organized from December until May 8, we managed to definitively wound the regime of Edi Rama. We managed with our protests to witness the other Albania, the Albania that never agreed with the narco-state, with corruption and its shield ," Berisha emphasized .
