"Not even kids will vote for him"/ Socialist MP, on Koçek's departure: He didn't have the courage to hand over the mandate donated by the SP!

Socialist Party MP, Briseida Çakërri , has addressed strong statements towards her former colleague, Marjana Koçeku , after the latter's departure from the Socialist parliamentary group.

Invited to the show "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli, Çakërri stated that Koçek did not show the political courage to hand over the mandate of the MP, which, according to her, she won thanks to the Socialist Party.

"As the days passed, it became even clearer to me what was happening from the first moment of leaving the parliamentary group, where she was not manly enough to resign from the mandate won by the SP, donated by the SP," said the socialist MP.

In a statement, Çakërri also brought up a well-known verse by Dritëro Agolli to illustrate, according to her, the former MP's behavior.

"It reminds me of Dritëro Agolli when he says: 'I held him in my arms all day. I even gave him encouragement... Hold on! The next day when we arrived in the village, he told the others: Beat me!' This is the most accurate expression," she declared.

The socialist MP openly challenged Koçeku to test her electoral support outside the SP logo.

"I invite him to come out and compete with the kids because even the kids won't vote for him. I haven't seen any cause and I haven't seen any other statement," said Çakërri.

The statements come at a time when Neomalësore's departure from the SP parliamentary group has sparked political debates, while the Socialists are trying to minimize the political weight of this act, describing it as an individual movement without real electoral support.

Meanwhile, the clash between the two MPs is expected to further fuel the public debate on the reasons and consequences of Koçek's separation from the majority.
