Marjana Koçek's departure from the SP, Berisha reacts: Call for socialist MPs!

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha , said today that he highly appreciated the latest move of the socialist MP, now independent, Marjana Koçeku , also known as "Neomalesorja", as he invited other SP MPs to join her and leave the pink seat, to join a no-confidence motion in Parliament with the aim of overthrowing and dismissing Edi Rama.

When asked by journalists during today's media conference, he also commented on recent political developments, making it clear that the DP's discourse is totally in support of civic and peaceful protest, as well as meeting citizens' demands.

Asked about Koçek's departure from the Socialist Party, he said: I appreciate every voice against Edi Rama and in support of the protest, I remind Albanians here that a completely possible solution would be and is if Edi Rama does not accept the solution, another peaceful solution as the protesters demand, is the departure of all socialist deputies who have not been implicated in crimes and this paves the way for the dismissal of Edi Rama with a motion of no confidence.

This immediately dismisses Edi Rama and creates an opportunity in Parliament to fulfill all demands, both their 5 demands and another list of 20 demands by analyzing them one by one. The opposition has and will have all the votes in favor and without hesitation of the just and constitutional demands of the youth and citizen protest.

Regarding the youth protest and the citizens' revolt against misgovernment, he expressed his full support and was convinced that it would triumph, even though Rama is trying to find agents among them or call them a fascist movement.
