The Mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, has reacted after MP Marjana Koçeku left the Socialist Party.

He says that this is not a drama for the SP, but Koçek must hand over the mandate.

"The Highlanders, nor the neo-Highlanders, have never sold or bought what was given to them in good faith and respect.

Anyone, under different conditions and circumstances, can change their opinion or ideas, they can no longer find themselves or they can no longer align with a political force. This is completely normal.

But the honor of being appointed to the top of the political list of the largest district in the north, without any previous political contribution, should not be morally abused.

Giving up the mandate obtained thanks to the vote of thousands of Shkodra socialists would be an act that would ennoble my friend, Marjana Koçeku.

This is not a drama for the SP, but it is a breach of trust, as long as the mandate given politically by the SP is misused.

"Beyond the exaltation of some who believe that the world has collapsed, the morality of the highlander must prevail: where you eat bread, don't overturn the cup," writes Ndreu.
