Minister Nufi from Washington: US cooperation, backbone for the modernization of the Armed Forces

Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, held a meeting in Washington with the acting director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Mary Beth Morgan.

Through a post on social media, Nufi shared photos and discussions that took place between them.

The focus of the talks was on strengthening strategic cooperation between Albania and the US, with the aim of modernizing the Armed Forces, increasing defense capacities, and strengthening Albania's role within NATO.

" During my visit to Washington, I held a meeting with the acting director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (#DSCA), Mary Beth Morgan, with whom we discussed advancing projects of mutual interest.

Our strategic cooperation with the US remains an important pillar for the modernization of the Albanian Armed Forces, the increase of our defense capacities and the strengthening of our country's contribution within the framework of the Alliance within #NATO. ", writes the minister.
