Prime Minister Edi Rama has commented on the achievement of the Kosovo-Serbia agreement at the Open Balkans summit in Belgrade.
" Yesterday we might not have been here at all, it might have been a day when the media would have been full of news about what is happening between the Serbia-Kosovo border and it showed what is the path and the choice of the open Balkans.
Today I want to say that even the solution of movement with identity cards is a choice of the "Open Balkans". Yesterday I told a Serbian journalist that all that energy should not be spent if Kosovo and other countries should also be in the "open Balkans".
I want to express my respect to the president of Serbia who, by materializing this solution, has given a clear signal to everyone that the first choice is peace, the solution for the people. This does not solve what remains to be solved nor does it solve the issue that divides us, but this is the way ," said Rama.
