The daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi, appeared today at SPAK.

She said she was summoned as a person who may have knowledge, while adding that this is an attempt by SPAK to whitewash Judge Irena Gjoka.

"It is an attempt to whitewash Irena Gjoka, it would not harm the investigation if Spak gave an answer to the public. I was called as a person who may have knowledge. Spak has the opportunity to expand the scope of the investigation, despite having started with Spak's complaint, does this institution do this, an institution that serves politics to imprison the opposition leader. Maltezi is in custody not for hundreds of millions but for having taken his land in accordance with every law, with double standards, how can you trust him anymore," said Malltezi.

On October 19, 2024, the former president of the GJKKO, Irena Gjoka, asked SPAK to investigate the statements of Argita Berisha, who accuses the judge of being filmed asking for 500 thousand euros from a former SP exponent.

Judge Gjoka requested in-depth investigations by the Special Prosecution Office into these public accusations that the former Prime Minister's daughter has made against her.

Malltezi's husband, Jamarbër Malltezi, is under house arrest for the "Partizani" case, while her father, Sali Berisha, has been ordered to appear in court.

Irena Gjoka is the judge who ordered the security measures of "house arrest" for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and "prison arrest" for Jamarbër Malltez.
