The police have finalized three operations in the last 24 hours to capture citizens internationally wanted in Italy and Sweden. These operations were carried out in cooperation with the homologous authorities of the ENFAST network and have resulted in the arrest of three individuals wanted for dangerous crimes.

Two of the arrested people wanted in Italy, Ylli Zherri and Lumnije Freskina, are accused of drug trafficking, while the person wanted in Sweden, Ahmad Farran, is accused of making serious threats to kill.

During the operations codenamed "Operational 22", the following were arrested:

Ylli Zherri (alias Ylli Gjuci), 32 years old: Arrested in Mamurras, for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed as part of a criminal organization. The Court of Varese, Italy, had ordered the security measure "Arrest in prison".

Lumnije Freskina (alias Lumnije Danaj), 60 years old: Arrested in Shkodër, on the same charge as Ylli Zherri. – "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization. The Court of Appeal of Florence, Italy, had issued an arrest warrant.

Ahmad Farran, 37 years old, Swedish citizen: Arrested in Tirana, after the Orebro Court, Sweden, issued an arrest warrant for the charge of "Serious Threat to Murder".

The operations were carried out in close coordination with the Italian and Swedish police, enabling the capture of these individuals and the initiation of extradition procedures for each of them.

'-Y. Zh. alias Y. Gj., 32 years old, born in Mamurras. He was arrested in Mamurras, after the Court of Varese, Italy, ordered him to be placed under the security measure of "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization;

-L. F alias LD, 60 years old, born in Shkodra. She was arrested in Shkodra, after the Court of Appeal of Florence, Italy, ordered her to be placed under the security measure of "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization;

-AF, 37 years old, Swedish citizen. He was arrested in Tirana, after the Court of Orebro, Sweden, issued an arrest warrant for him, for the criminal offense of "Serious threat to murder", the police announced.

Interpol Tirana is cooperating with the authorities of Italy and Sweden to complete the extradition process of these individuals.
