The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, says it is unimaginable that his deputies were denied a meeting with him in prison.

Through a post on social media, the President of the Freedom Party emphasizes that MPs Vasili and Xixho were obstructed for hours and were not allowed in, in clear violation of the law.

Meta says that this is a repeated case, following the violent arrest, according to him, of MP and PBDNJ chairman Vangjel Dule and MEP Fredi Beleri. This, Meta says, shows the double standard being followed.

"Meanwhile, everyone knows that Durrës prison has become the second headquarters of "Rilindja" where anyone who expresses a desire to meet with Edi Rama's associates, whom he himself put in prison, can enter and exit without authorization from the prosecutor and without permission from the Directorate of Prisons," writes Ilir Meta.

What happened today is unimaginable, where Freedom Party MPs, Mr. Petrit Vasili and Ms. Erisa Xhixho, were prevented for hours and were not allowed, in clear violation of the law, the Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights, to meet me in the premises where I have been kept in extreme isolation for 4 months without facts and without criminal evidence.

This repeated case, after the equally violent detention of the MP and President of the PBDNJ, Mr. Vangjel Dule, and the MEP, Mr. Fredi Beleri, proves once again the "European standards" of the Drug State and Drug Justice, which deny me the right to meet MPs and leaders of the Freedom Party, according to the legal provisions that have been respected by them in a very legal and rigorous manner.

No surprise from this criminal regime, which kidnapped me in a bandit manner and keeps me isolated without evidence and without criminal facts, when in the meantime everyone saw the actions taken to arrest Veliaj as very correct and full of care.

Meanwhile, everyone knows that Durrës prison has become the second headquarters of "Rilindja" where anyone who expresses a desire to meet with Edi Rama's associates, whom he himself put in prison, can enter and exit without authorization from the prosecutor and without permission from the Prisons Directorate.
