At the rally held by the Municipality of Tirana in "Skënderbej" Square, a documentary was broadcast that reflected the transformation of Tirana over the years, bringing views from the '90s to today's changes.
A short segment was also dedicated to Lulzim Basha, who led the Municipality of Tirana from 2011 to 2015. Ironically, the Socialist Party presented this period as a time when he remained passive, portraying him as a mayor who "fell asleep."
Lulzim Basha reacted to this, calling "tired jokes" those made for sleep that don't even disturb the slightest nap.
Basha says that Rama considers the theft a success and that he gathered Tirana Municipality employees today as Enver's volunteers.
"Not even the slightest nap is disturbed by these sleep-weary jokes from someone who considers theft a success, to the point of gathering like Enver's volunteers on this February 20th, to protect the monument of impunity."
Edi Rama's motto "he who does not steal, sleeps" has taken on full value with justice in action.
"Albania deserves more," Basha writes.
