TIRANA - The long-standing battle with properties in Albania is finally getting the long-awaited answer from justice. Patronageist has learned that the arrest of the acting mayor of Himara, Jorgo-Gjergji Goro, - sued by his illegitimate successor Fredi Beleri - is only the tip of the iceberg of property theft in the country. It is known that earlier there were similar arrests in Lezhë and Shengjin, but Himara's case is special.
This is because as soon as he set foot inside the cell, Goro followed the example of the backsliding successor Beleri, suing the delinquent ancestor Bollano, the latter his predecessor and so on.
"Currently we are working to get the head of the Himare municipality indicted at the time of Zog's kingdom. He also has a hand in this crap," anonymous SPAK sources claimed for Patronageist.

But the most dramatic event came from an unexpected place, from the Divjak-Karavasta lagoon. The Special Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office has announced that Pelikan Kaçurrel, who for many years and decades has claimed to be the autochthonous resident of the lagoon, is wanted no less and no more. Not only has his claim never been questioned, he has even been allowed to have an island of his own within the lagoon.
The lawsuit in SPAK is said to have been filed by the Kosovo businessman Behgjet Pacolli, who accuses Pelikani of falsifying the karavastaic cadastre papers by occupying the old tourist resort of Behgjet's great-grandparents. Even to imitate who knows what kind of closeness of blood with the businessman, the fraudulent bird had also modified the name in the civil status, turning it into Pehlikan Kaçurolli. It seems that the trick worked for some time, because even the aboriginal fishermen of the area did not harass Pehlikan and his family, because "he had warm arms" , despite the fact that Behgjeti registered his companies in the icy Alps of Switzerland.

SPAK, in the lawsuit it has registered, underlines that Pelikani Kaçurrel does not possess any property documents for Karavastana, but has occupied the territory according to the "asht e zanun " principle. He flew, presumably, from a group of Dalmatian islands in Croatia, where it was colder and property tax had risen after the country joined the EU. But new problems are appearing on the horizon.
After the shocking announcement by SPAK, it is known that the Croatian authorities have reacted, accusing the Albanian state of unjustly persecuting the inhabitants of Croatian origin in Karavasta. "The Croatian settlement of Karavasta, created by the well-known Pelo Kaçurrelic, is being persecuted by so-called strategic investors who are looting the best properties with the permission of the government. Albania will encounter obstacles in its flight to the EU if it continues on this path," declared the Croatian government.

But Albanian justice does not seem to have been complicated by this threat, while Prime Minister Rama clearly said that he cannot interfere in the work of the independent special justice. "If it were any other justice, for example, general and dependent, with all pleasure. Likewise, I can't," said Rama.
Meanwhile, the search for the Pelican continues. Some indications spoke of his presence in Dubai, while other witnesses insisted that they had seen him disguised, with his feathers no longer curled, but straightened. Some even said that the Pelican had shaved his head zero to avoid recognition.
PS Alternative witnesses stated that the curls were not directed by Pelikani, but by former minister Volta Llaçka, who as a strategic investor in Himara continues to be the deputy of Kuvendthi.
