Prime Minister Edi Rama made it clear to the opposition that he will not resign. Through his message on the Vlora Hyseni issue, Rama said that nothing will stop him and that Albania will not return afterwards.
"Corruption today is facing another system, where bodies are being developed that investigate and in complete freedom and independence. Until yesterday corruption was the system, today the system is fighting corruption, this is the epochal change. The self-purification of the system is a long-awaited development in the organization of the state, after an agony as long as the history of the Albanian state.
After an agony as long as the history of the Albanian state, the state organism is gaining immunity from old diseases and, when this noisy, dirty and painful phase has passed, when the names, secrets, drool, scribbles and screams of the media stalls have faded, when the smoke of the digital mirrors has dispersed and the dust of the Justice Reform construction site has settled, then everyone will see that these developments are a vital part of the radical, irreversible change that Albania is undergoing today.
Today I have returned to Albania, but Albania does not return.
"No one and nothing will stop it, it won't stop us, they won't stop me," Rama said.
