The Assembly voted today on the new territorial map with 46 municipalities, an initiative opposed by the opposition.

With 85 votes in favor, the territorial reform was approved in the Assembly, after 15 hours of debate.

In protest, the opposition blocked the podium, while the leader of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, attempted to hit Prime Minister Edi Rama with a water bottle, but was not allowed by the guards.
