Scottish DJ Jamie Roy has died at the age of 33. The young man's family confirmed the sad news, but did not give more details.

"Jamie was a very loving and talented son, brother, nephew and uncle. Beloved by his many friends and colleagues within the music industry and beyond. We are heartbroken", says the announcement.

Meanwhile, friends and colleagues described him as an extraordinary person.
