We all remember her from the song "Çuna si ty Durrësi ka plot", but today we see the Albanian singer Ledi Vokshi in a completely different profession, that of life and business mentor, always coming to the aid of women and girls.
Today she talked about her beginnings in music, living for 28 years in the United States of America, why she chose to become a mentor and help anyone with her advice, as well as moving from America to the Dominican Republic to start a chapter completely new in her life.
Asked in " Abc " if it was difficult to leave Albania, Ledi answered that she found it necessary, since only by working there she could realize her musical projects at that time in Albania and that only in America was she fulfilled "slingshot" of lek.
" I will tell you a short story. I see a young man on the plane. And he tells me that he saw me somewhere and I jokingly tell him I don't know, maybe on TV.
No, he told me, I haven't seen you on TV, but I have seen you somewhere. And I had a habit of holding the rubber bands in my hands. And when I came to Albania, I always came with leka and slingshots. And the moment the rubber bands ran out, the money ran out and it was time to go to America and work.
Albania was quite good, while in America I was doing 2-3 jobs and everything was going at a pace. It was very good in Albania, but the slingshots were filled in America ," she said.
