Tragic/ Fitness model Larissa Borges, 33, dies suddenly of a heart attack

A model known on the web for her exercise routines and healthy lifestyle has died suddenly of a multiple heart attack, which left her in a coma for almost a week.

Instagram influencer Larissa Borges died yesterday in her hometown of Gramado in Brazil, after being hospitalized for several days from an unexplained heart attack.

Her family says the young woman was hospitalized on August 20 with heart problems, but the physical education instructor never recovered.

Larissa had more than 30,000 online followers, with whom she shared tips on staying fit, and images of her travels or exercise routines.

Three days before she was admitted to the hospital, Larissa - who came from Brasília - had shared a photo of Gramado wearing a checkered dress.

In other photos before the cardiac arrest that took her life, she posed in elegant suits while talking about her visits to the city.

But after her hospitalization, relatives were the ones who shared information about her condition, while fans sent her wishes for a speedy recovery.

Yesterday came the tragic news that Larissa had died, after "having fought courageously" for her life.

The family members have set up a donation page for the return of her body to her hometown of Gramado where she lived.

Local police said they are investigating the cause of death.
