Sylvester Stallone talks about the tragic death of his son: We would do anything

Actor  Sylvester Stallone has spoken about his late son, Sage , in his new Netflix documentary. 

Sage , who tragically died aged 36 from coronary heart disease in July 2012.

In the documentary, the 77-year-old actor makes a number of revelations from his personal life, saying that "unfortunately " , many scenes in the 1990 film " Rocky V " were drawn from his real-life relationship with his son. 

Stallone, who wrote the screenplay for the film, which also starred Talia Shire and Burt Young , said that when he wrote, he put his characters in situations that he himself wanted to be in.

"I'm trying to get something that's actually what I would have liked to have done in real life, but I couldn't. And so often I've done it theatrically, magically... a lot of it is true. "Unfortunately, we put things on our family and the effects are quite devastating," said Stallone.

The actor also has three daughters, Sophia, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlett, 21, with his wife Jennifer Flavin, as well as a son from his first marriage./ Dailymail
