The winner of the last edition of the "Song Festival" Ronela Hajati, who also represented Albania in 'Eurovision' with her song 'Sekret', did not perform on the first evening of the show. 

And for this, the artist reacted strongly to the organizers on social networks, where she expressed that she felt 'disgust' with this action on their part.

Recently, 'Anabel.al' has contacted the organizers of Fest 61 at RTSH, who have responded to the dissatisfaction that the artist publicly expressed towards them.

According to the organizers of the festival, the reason why Ronela was not invited to perform on the first night is because that was the formula of this edition. They pointed out that they have invited the artist to give the public award that will lead Albania to the Eurosong this year, but she has not accepted.

"The formula of re-singing the winning song a year after it was announced is a very short-lived tradition, almost non-existent, compared to the Festival's history, now 61 years old. Since the goal this year was to focus on the participating artists and the songs that are presented for the first time, there are no musical guests on the first two nights of the Festival. The application of this formula has nothing to do with respect, appreciation and love for everything Ronela has done on the stage of FIK and Eurosong. Ronela was invited to give the public award for leading Albania to the Eurosong this year, but she refused the invitation," sources told Anabel.al.
