After the uproar caused by her arrest in Italy, Elsa Lila returns to Albania to participate in the 61st edition of the Song Festival.

She will compete with the song titled "Evita". The singer herself reacted a few days before the festival, thanking the fans for the many messages.

"I thank you all for the support you give me! See you soon on December 19, 20, 21 and 22 on the stage of the Palace of Congresses. #Fest61 is coming!", she wrote next to the post that received many comments from followers, where they say they can't wait to see her on stage.

She will compete among 26 contenders selected by the jury for the festival's grand prize. Her participation in this festival comes after a 26-year absence, when in her last appearance on the stage of this festival, in 1996, she was declared the winner with the song "Pyes Lotin".
