Predicted his death? What rapper Takeoff said in the last interview (Video)

The sudden death of Kirshnik Khari Ball, otherwise known as Takeoff, has shocked the rap world.

The artist was shot dead in the early hours of the morning after an altercation at a bowling alley in Houston.

He was with Quavo, his uncle who has the band Migos.

Just a week before his tragic death, Takeoff appeared on the Drink Champs podcast and he actually spoke about the death, explaining that while he was alive he wanted to get more recognition.

"I mean, it's time to give me my flowers," Takeoff told host NORE.

"I don't want them later when I'm not here. I love them now."

He referred to recognition for his work and suggested that accolades would come after his death, as they have, but that he also wanted his talent to be appreciated while he was still alive.
