Meriton has told about the difficult period of his life, the time when they returned to Kosovo after the war.

While talking to Egla about his personal life, he said inside the Big Brother VIP house that the father decided to return since the grandmother was no longer in Germany.

"We lived in Germany but then we came back because of my grandmother. Dad took grandma to Germany, she was with old traditions, including traditional dress. She has never changed them, her husband died when she was only 36 years old. He raised his children in the village.

Then dad took him during the war (in Germany), but he never got used to the German country and culture. Then she said she will come back and came back with us. Even though it was after the war, it was problematic, the house was burnt and things like that. Dad started from zero," Meritoni confessed.
