How is the "culinary competition" presented for the countries of the region?

The assessments show that Albania has lost the race. Just like in 2022, the Albanian cuisine has not managed to improve in the evaluation as compared to the countries of the region it is ranked at the end of them. Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina and North Macedonia are ranked 20th, 27th and 61st. Meanwhile, Montenegro and Kosovo are not on the list.

We emphasize that the cuisine rating for each country is based on the users' opinion of the thirty best dishes, drinks and food products in each country. If any country does not meet this criteria, that is, there are not enough articles to be evaluated, then it does not become part of the list. Describing itself as "a world atlas of traditional dishes, local ingredients and authentic restaurants", TasteAtlas features an interactive global food map with dish icons displayed in their respective regions and is said to contain nearly 10,000 dishes, drinks and ingredients, as well as 9,000 restaurants.
