Beer that's paid for with Bitcoin

A company in San Francisco, in its early stages of creation, has created a cricket beer that allows consumers to pay with digital coins. Pubinno is already known for its "Smart" kriko beer system, which has in the background the artificial intelligence system that enables beer service through robots.

Cash and credit cards are not needed, as this crico beer robot accepts the digital currency bitcoin. This is the latest innovation by technology company Pubinno.

It's enough to scan a code on your phone to pay for the cryptocurrency beer. Users must have an app that adapts to the Lightning Network, a technology that enables high-speed and low-cost cryptocurrency transactions.

"This year we began adapting our products to blockchain technology, (cryptocurrency transtransaction system) to enable the trading of our products and beer with digital currencies. The extremely fast network enables transactions to be carried out within two seconds," says Can Algul, chief executive and co-founder of Pubinno.

The beer rub, or robotic critter, has been put into use at the company's research centre in Istanbul. Since 2016, this system has been used in restaurants in 30 cities and five states, while the cryptocurrency payment has recently been added.

But robotics is used at a festival and there are plans to be offered for other festivals in Europe during the summer season.

"This technology gives beer consumers the opportunity to get their drink from a robot, in view of the pandemic. The other benefit is that local owners pay almost a small or zero percentage as a result of rapid crypto trans-sections. As well as lowering the cost of working in the restaurant," says Mr. Agul.

This bar in Istanbul uses Pubinno's Smart Tap system. The firm has doubled artificial intelligence and robotics to manage kriton and beer barrels. Robotic components have the skills to regulate the amount of beer foam in cups. The firm states that this technology can save up to 20% of the barrel.

The popularity of cryptocurrencies has increased significantly, as officials around the world try to find a regulatory way amid fears of a threat of financial stability and losses that consumers may suffer.

Supporters of digital currencies say the technology enables faster and transparent transances. But skeptics worry that cryptocurrencies could be used for illegal activities and harm the environment, because of the great computing power needed to process transactions.

"Bitcoin is revolutionizing the financial system, a new kind of money. Bitcoin technology is very important to our monetary system because we are suffering from the conventional system and every ten years we face high inflation,"says Enes Ozkan, economist and cryptocurrency researcher at Istanbul University.

Last month, the United States added government oversight measures on cryptocurrencies, while European Union lawmakers agreed to draft projects for digital currencies.

Pubgino is trying to be at the forefront of whether one day bitcoin transactions become a stay-at-home alternative in the face of traditional payment methods.
