A military analyst has compared Serbia, under the current government of Aleksandar Vučić , to the communist regime of Enver Hoxha in Albania.

Aleksandar Radic was talking about the purchase of weapons by the Vučić government from the Chinese, emphasizing that Serbia is the only country in Europe that buys weapons from China.

Here he mentioned the Hoxha regime, saying that Albania at that time was also massively building bunkers and being supplied with Chinese weapons.

"If we look at the historical context, during the reign of Enver Hoxha, Albania massively produced bunkers and supplied Chinese weapons. Regardless of its partners in foreign policy, Serbia under the current authorities is starting to resemble that 'autistic' Albania.  The image is created that everyone is working on our heads, that everyone is concentrating troops and preparing for attack, for war, that we must be ready for defense," he said.
