A 47-year-old woman has been arrested after poisoning her 51-year-old partner, as she suspected that he would leave her after learning that he had "inherited" a fortune of 30 million dollars.

The serious event took place in North Dakota, USA, where it is learned that the 51-year-old learned that he was the beneficiary of an inheritance of 30 million dollars, but according to his son, the inheritance was a fraud.

The 51-year-old's partner, Thea Kenoyer , allegedly poisoned him with a heavy chemical by giving it to him through food a day before the 51-year-old was to meet with the "lawyer" who would inform him about the inheritance.

But according to the victim's 21-year-old son, Ryan, the "inheritance" was a scam. He told the New York Post that his father had received an e-mail from a person claiming to be a lawyer for an unknown distant relative, who asked him to meet him at an airport to sign alleged documents. inheritance.

"He didn't suspect anything before going to the airport, but he was sure that he had inherited the money he was going to get from the supposed lawyer," said the victim's 21-year-old son. "But the 'lawyer' never showed up. It was a scam. He was someone who convinced my father that everything was true," he added.

According to him, his father had planned to buy land, part of which he would give to his two children, and then he wanted to open a car parts shop.

The 21-year-old has shown that even the 47-year-old Kenoyer had believed the fraud and this was her motive for killing him.

"They were not very happy and my father had been thinking of giving her up for a long time," he said.

According to the case file, Kanoyer told officers she was entitled to a beneficial interest in the estate of Riley, who planned to split the $30 million with his son.

Riley breathed his last at the hospital where he was taken the day after he was poisoned, with the initial assessment that his death was caused by cardiac arrest, but an autopsy showed that he had been the victim of poisoning.

During the inspections of the police officers in the woman's apartment, they also found the bottle with the poison that she had used to kill her partner, while traces of the substance were also found in a bottle of beer.
