Mutual attacks continue

A day after the US attack on Iranian bases, Israel and Iran have again carried out attacks on each other. The Israeli military said it carried out strikes against Iranian "military targets", including missile launch and storage sites.

"About 20 fighter jets carried out intelligence-based strikes using more than 30 munitions against military targets in Iran," the Israeli military said.

Alarm was also raised in Israel as the Defense Forces said they had intercepted a rocket fired from Iran. Israeli media reported that two people were trapped in a building hit by a rocket in central Israel. 14 people were injured in the strike, including a 60-year-old woman in critical condition.

Loud explosions were also heard in Tel Aviv after the IDF issued an airstrike warning due to incoming Iranian missiles. Airstrike alerts were later issued again in several areas of Israel, including the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, this morning the Israeli Air Force (IAF) announced that it was bombing military facilities in Kermanshah, in western Iran.
