VIDEO/ IMAGES from the explosion in Athens are published, no injuries reported!

A bomb exploded near the Hellenic Train offices in Athens on Friday evening.

Greek media have provided footage from the moment of the explosion, and a backpack containing the explosives, moments before the massive explosion.

The bag was tied to a column outside the Hellenic Train offices .

The perpetrators went to the scene on a motorcycle and left it there.

There are no reports of any injuries from the explosion, but only material damage.

This incident comes at a time when widespread public anger has grown in the wake of the 2023 Tempi rail tragedy, in which 57 people were killed when a freight train and a passenger train going in opposite directions collided on the same track.
