Iskander Systems Strike

For the first time during the war, Ukraine has reportedly managed to destroy at least two Russian Iskander ballistic missile launch systems.

The strike was carried out near the city of Klintsy in Bryansk, Russia, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to information, one of the Iskander systems was completely destroyed while two others were severely damaged. Hitting them is difficult due to localization. They launch ballistic missiles from the interior of Russian territory.

"Thanks to effective reconnaissance and coordinated efforts of the Armed Forces and Security Service of Ukraine, the targets were successfully hit," said the General Staff of Ukraine.

The agency added that there were no civilian casualties and estimates of Russian losses are ongoing.
