Russian President Vladimir Putin's troops were filmed writing "For Darya Dugina" on shells and grenades before firing a barrage of ammunition at Ukrainian forces, according to the Daily Mail.
Russian soldiers in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region wrote on ammunition that this was their 'revenge' for Dugina, 29, the daughter of Putin's 'guru' adviser, who was killed by a car bomb.
Dugina, whose father Alexander Dugin is a notorious ultranationalist, died in an explosion on a highway near the village of Bolshiye Vyazyomy just outside the capital on Saturday.
After the bombing, the Kremlin announced that Kiev had hired to kill a 43-year-old Ukrainian mother who had traveled to Russia in mid-July with her daughter.
But Ukrainian and Western officials believe the car bomb was planted as part of an operation by pro-Kremlin forces to blame Ukraine and provide an excuse for a further escalation of violence.
