The death of Prigozhin, Wagner: The plane was shot down by Russian military
Prigozhin and the place where the plane crashed

The mercenary group Wagner has reacted to the news of the death of their leader Yevgeny Prigozhin in a plane crash north of Moscow.

In a statement on Telegram, Wagner blamed Kremlin officials led by Putin for Prigozhin's murder.

They say the plane was shot down by the anti-aircraft system of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Wagner's statement says that Dmitrij Utkin, the right-hand man of Wagner's boss, was also on the plane.
