Israeli army calls on Palestinians in Gaza: Evacuate to al-Mawasi

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Avichay Adraee has called on Palestinian residents living in the al-Daraj and al-Tuffah neighborhoods, in Gaza's Old City, to evacuate immediately.

Through a post on the social network "X", Adraee stated that "the IDF continues to act with great force wherever terrorist activity is carried out and rockets are fired at Israel."

Residents have been advised to move towards al-Mawasi, a Bedouin coastal town that has been declared by Israel as a "safe zone" for civilians.

However, up to half a million Palestinians are currently sheltering in the area, who face extreme overcrowding and difficult living conditions, amid a lack of food, water and medical assistance.
