In Pristina, protests are being held "against injustice" by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who are being charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.

During his speech to the protesters, Ali Ahmeti, who was part of the KLA, called for freedom for former KLA leaders.

He said they are being treated unfairly by the Special Court.

"Today we demand our right, the KLA has fought a just war, for freedom, for liberation from occupation. It has adhered to international laws of war. He did not deal with the innocent, he did not kill civilians, women, children, or elderly", said Ahmeti.

According to Ahmeti, Serbia is doing everything to "undo the state of Kosovo" through the court in The Hague. In this regard, he mentioned that the Court has received material evidence from Serbia.

"This model of selective justice does not bring universal justice, but a narrative that shifts blame from the occupiers to the liberators," Ahmeti said.
