The two Albanian brothers from Peja, Bashkim and Gazmend Maloku, will be accompanied to their final resting place this Monday afternoon, after they passed away on Sunday. They closed their eyes within a few hours, one after the other.

Initially, it was Gazmend Maloku (Meni) who lost his life after several days in the hospital in serious condition, because he had been involved in an accident, while the terrible news shocked the Peja family.

The pain didn't end there. Just a few hours later, the news was also heard by his older brother, Bashkimi, who was receiving treatment in the hospital due to an illness.

Relatives have told the media that just an hour after learning of Gazmendi's escape, Bashkimi also passed away.

Two consecutive losses on the same day have left many family members, friends and citizens in Peja sad. Today, the two sons of the Maloku family will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM at the city cemetery.
