Another case/ 28-year-old woman dies during a stomach reduction operation in

Britain has been rocked by the death of a 28-year-old woman who traveled to Turkey for weight loss surgery.

As reported by the British network BBC and "Daily Mail", 28-year-old Shannon Bowie passed away on Saturday, during a surgical operation for weight loss, known as "gastric banding".

The strange thing is that even though the girl died on Saturday, the news of her death came out today. The 28-year-old decided to go to Turkey where the prices are more affordable and undergo an operation with the aim of having the "ideal body".

As the British newspaper "Mirror" reports, the British authorities have called on Turkey to provide explanations regarding the causes of the 28-year-old's death.

We recall that, on March 22, a BBC investigation revealed that seven British patients who traveled to Turkey to undergo weight loss surgery died in the operating room.

With the loss of Shannon, that number grows.
