He tried to burn his ex-wife with gasoline in Greece, the testimony of the

The 50-year-old Albanian, who threatened his ex-wife that he would burn her with gasoline and then said that he would set himself on fire, has been left in prison by the Greek authorities.

Kosmoslarissa.gr writes that the incident happened on New Year's Eve in the central square of Larissa, while yesterday he apologized. The Albanian denied the charge of attempted murder.

"I didn't want to hurt anyone, not even myself," he said.

According to him, the whole event happened to draw attention to his ex-wife, who ignored him and did not respond to his request to see the child. But this claim was not convincing on the part of the investigators, who issued an order for his arrest.

How did the event happen?

The Albanian, who works in construction in the Hellenic state, was waiting for his 41-year-old ex-wife at the entrance of the palace. While she was parking the car where their son was, he sprayed it with gasoline, threatening to set it on fire. According to the police, it was their 17-year-old son who reacted calmly and neutralized his father, while his mother left and then called the police. Then the 50-year-old left on a bicycle and went to the central square where he threatened to burn himself, but at this moment the police intervened and arrested him.
