The United States has called on Kosovo and Serbia to urgently and seriously commit to fulfilling the obligations arising from the dialogue they are developing.
"We welcome the meetings that have been held to advance the normalization process," the State Department's response to the Serbian-language Voice of America said on the occasion of a meeting of kosovo and Serbian leaders Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vucic, with representatives of the European Union and leaders of EU member states.
"We continue to strongly support dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, with the mediation of the European Union, as the only way to ensure their peaceful and productive relations and fulfill their aspirations for membership in the Union," the State Department spokesman said.
European trio Scholz, Macron and Meloni on Thursday issued a joint statement following meetings held in Brussels on Thursday with Kurti and Vucic, separately.
They asked Kosovo to establish the Association, while Serbia the de facto recognition of Kosovo's independence.
