US shoots down two Iranian missiles over Kuwait

US forces have intercepted and destroyed two Iranian ballistic missiles targeting US military personnel in Kuwait, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Monday.

According to the CENTCOM statement, the missiles were neutralized immediately after their detection and no casualties or injuries were reported among American forces.

The US command stressed that it remains on high alert to protect US personnel and interests in the region from any Iranian threat or aggression.

"We will continue to protect American forces while supporting the ongoing ceasefire," the CENTCOM statement said.
