Serbia remands former head of Kosovo's Special Operations Unit for one

Former member of the Kosovo Special Operations Unit, Arbnor Spahiu, was detained on Sunday by Serbian authorities at the Horgosh border crossing, and then taken to the detention center in Kanjizhë.

Today, Spahiu appeared before the Municipal Court of Kikinda.

Media in Kosovo report that Arbnor Spahiu has been detained for 1 month by Serbian authorities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo also reacted to this yesterday.

Meanwhile, the former police officer's detention was announced yesterday by lawyer Arianit Koci, who stated that he has taken over his defense.
