"Serbs are being expelled from Kosovo", Lavrov, in support of Belgrade, compares the situation in the North with Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has commented on the recent tensions between Serbia and Kosovo, drawing parallels between the situation in the Balkans and that in Ukraine.

"The persecution of Serbs from Kosovo is similar to the Nazi persecution of the Russian population from the territory of Donbas, which was carried out by the Ukrainian authorities", declared the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov.

"They said that without Ukraine, there would be no civilization in Crimea and Donbas, and in the 30s of the last century, the elite race declared that only it could bring civilization to Europe," Lavrov said.

"Ethnic cleansing is pure as tears. Also, thank God, without serious military conflicts, they are trying to expel the Serbs from Kosovo", said the Russian minister.
