Russia in trouble? Zelensky reveals the conversation with Trump and the

US President Donald Trump's attitude towards Russia seems to have changed drastically in recent weeks, as the Kremlin not only shows no desire to end the war, but has increased attacks on civilian targets with hundreds killed and wounded.

Recently, the US has decided to support Ukraine militarily, while it seems that other economic sanctions will hit Russia soon. These were revealed in a post on social networks by Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky, after his phone conversation with Trump.

Zelensky's message:

A productive conversation with President Trump, with the main focus of course ending the war. We are grateful to the President of the United States for all efforts toward a just and lasting peace. It is really imperative to stop the killings as soon as possible and we fully support this. Many months could have passed without a war, if Russia had not prolonged it.

Today, we coordinated our positions – Ukraine and the United States. We exchanged assessments of the situation: The Russians have intensified the brutality of their attacks. President Trump is fully informed about Russian attacks on Kyiv and other cities and communities.

Of course, we talked about sanctions against Russia. Their economy continues to decline, and that is precisely why Moscow is so sensitive to this perspective and President Trump's determination. This can vary a lot.

We discussed joint European decisions that can help our defense. We already have commitments from the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark - over a billion dollars for American weapons that Ukraine will receive. Thank you! This cooperation with NATO countries will continue.

We also discussed our bilateral defense cooperation with America. The draft agreement on drones has already been prepared by the Ukrainian side, we are ready to discuss it in detail and complete it. One of the strongest deals that this can be.

Thank you to every American heart who supports our defense of life. Thank you, President Trump!
