Billionaire Elon Musk has sharply criticized the latest version of the tax bill proposed by President Donald Trump and published by the US Senate.

In a strong reaction on the X network, Musk called the draft "completely meaningless and destructive," warning of serious consequences for the American economy.

According to him, the bill will lead to the loss of millions of jobs and will severely damage US strategic interests.

“This Senate bill subsidizes the industries of the past while severely harming the industries of the future,” Musk wrote.

His reaction comes just weeks after he and Trump had settled their differences over the issue, bringing back into focus tensions over fiscal policies and technological development in the US.
