Spooky coincidence of the couple/ They crashed on the same day even though they

A couple who traveled on different planes on the same day managed to survive when the planes crashed.

30-year-old Stefano Pirilli escaped the accident unharmed, while his 22-year-old fiancee, Antonietta Demasi, was slightly injured.

The coincidence happened after the two decided to travel separately on two planes to fly to Turin for a lunch date with friends. "Daily Mail" writes that the 30-year-old's "Tecnam P92 Echo Super" landed in San Gillio after encountering difficulties, while the 22-year-old's plane crashed shortly after, 25 km away, in Busano.

Firefighters attended both locations and the couple were taken to hospital along with their pilots.

"We are lucky that we did not lose our lives, our thoughts are with the pilots who were injured. I just want my girlfriend and the pilot to get well, nothing else matters," said Stefano Pirilli.

“Sunday was a perfect day for air travel with the sun, it was the perfect way to have fun. It was Antonietta's first trip and I am very sorry that this happened", he added.
