This Saturday at noon, at 12:00, the third attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo will be held.

A day before this session, the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, did not give a clear answer as to whether his party has managed to secure the necessary votes to approve the report on the verification of MPs' mandates and the election of the Speaker of the Assembly.

The last session ended without any results, as an agreement between the parties was lacking during the consultations called by the Speaker of the Assembly, Avni Dehari.

The latter did not put the report to a vote at all, an action that the opposition described as a violation of parliamentary procedures. The winning Vetëvendosje party and other Albanian entities are accusing each other of obstructing the process of constituting the Assembly.

Vetëvendosje, which emerged victorious with 48 seats, still needs at least 13 more votes to form a government.

There have been rumors of a possible agreement with Fatmir Limaj's Social Democratic Initiative, which has three MPs, but so far, neither party has publicly confirmed such cooperation.

Kurti is reportedly seeking support from MPs from non-Serb communities as well.

The session will resume today, Saturday at 12:00, and it remains to be seen whether there will be any concrete progress this time.
