SERIOUS VIEWS / New York Post: The video filmed the fall of the Albanian couple
Florind Belliu

The dead bodies of 35-year-old Florind Belliu and his wife, 28-year-old Ornela Shehi, were found in the courtyard of the building at 2199 Cruger Boulevard, around 9:15 local time, police sources said.

According to the New York Post, a video filmed the moment when Ornela Shehi falls from the balcony, but it is not clear if the video is from the security cameras near the scene. Just a few seconds later, the video also filmed Belli as he fell from the balcony to the sidewalk.

Police in New York said the circumstances of the incident are still unclear. Neighbors said that the couple "was quiet" and "kept things to themselves". The two of them were often seen going out for walks.

Actor Florind Belliu was reported "in an emotionally disturbed state" missing in April, but the police found him a few hours later not far from the apartment.

Sources told the US newspaper that the police had never received reports of violence between the couple, and that they had moved into the new apartment about 4 months ago.

Belliu seemed to have forewarned such a tragedy, as in a post on Facebook, he apologized to the children while writing that "their father has never broken the law".

Belliu talked about a kind of "wide and extended conspiracy organized against him by many people", which raised suspicions that he could be psychologically burdened.
