According to the polling forecast, Orban will secure 128 seats out of the 199 parliament has in total, while the opposition will secure only 71 terms. For a two-thirds majority in Parliament, 133 seats are needed.
Polls also predict a record turnout, in elections after 80 percent of respondents said they would vote sunday.
A third of those still reeling wanted to see another government, while another third had opposite views; The rest were undecided. But, "a last-minute voter decision in this latter category would not change the result for the benefit of the opposition".
Polls also found that two-thirds of the general population and a third of opposition voters expect Fidesz's victory.
In Budapest, Fidesz is predicted to secure 27 percent of the vote, while 45 percent would go to the opposition, while in the provinces 43 percent will support Fidesz and 29 percent the opposition.
