The war in Ukraine has reached its 229th day, and the conflict is at a tipping point.

The UN General Assembly rejected Russia's request for a secret vote on the motion condemning the annexation of occupied Ukrainian territories.

The Russian request was rejected with 100 votes against, 14 in favor and 38 abstentions. The British ambassador to the UN, Barbara Woodward, spoke very harshly: "Borders cannot be reassigned by force."

Meanwhile, the G7 virtual summit for Ukraine will be held today at 2:00 p.m., where Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky will also participate.

After the destruction of the bridge connecting Crimea with Russia, Russian forces hit several Russian cities with missiles, destroying civilian infrastructure.

President Zelensky asked Europe for a tough response. On the other hand, the president of Belarus Lukashenko announced that the Misnk troops will form joint units with those of Moscow, causing the conflict to expand.
