Municipality of Rahovec, Kosovo

The Mayor of Rahovec Municipality, Smajl Laitifi, promised new couples in this municipality apartments for living.

He also said at the meeting of the Municipal Assembly that from January 1 of this year, every birth in the Maternity Department of the HCMC "Dr. Fahredin Hoti" will be supported with 500 euros by the Municipality of Rahovec.

"We are aiming to prevent normal births from happening elsewhere. I believe that 500 euros is not some kind of new standard, we started with 200 euros and this year it is 500. Likewise, every young couple who gets married has more money from an apartment. Although the constructions have not started yet, I will give apartments to the young couples who will get married in the municipality of Rahovec", Latifi emphasized.

In this session, the Director for Urban Planning in the Municipality of Rahovec, Arbnor Mullabazi, announced that in 2023 there were 73 applications for construction permits, 120 for construction conditions, 32 environmental permits and 9 acceptance permits.

"In 2020, we had 13 applications for environmental permits, 31 for construction permits and 68 applications for construction conditions. In 2023, we have 73 construction permit applications, 120 construction conditions, 32 environmental permits and 9 acceptance permit applications. The directorate of urban planning and the executive have succeeded in preparing the municipal plan 2023-2031 including the entire territory of the municipality of Rahovec", he emphasized.

Director for Geodesy and Cadastre Afrim Oruqi said that he spoke about the decision to exchange municipal property with that of the central institution.

"According to the legislation in force, we have the decision to exchange municipal property with property of the central institution, it is about the cadastral area in Rahovec, both properties belong to the central institutions, it is about 132 square meters belonging to the water agency and given to the municipality of Rahovec," he emphasized.

At the meeting of the Municipal Assembly, a number of other decisions foreseen in the agenda were also approved.
