An unusual appeal to the Polish people has come from their Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who asks them not to panic if they see German soldiers inside their territory, as they have come to help them in the flood situation.

Apparently 85 years since Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939 is not long enough for Poles and Tusk wanted to set his citizens straight.

"If you see German soldiers, please don't panic. They are here to help," Tusk said in Wroc?aw, a city in western Poland that is grappling with flash floods that have so far left at least 21 people dead.

"This is help, so there are no doubts. They don't intend to blow up any embankments", Tusk added, wanting to extinguish all the fake news and conspiracy theories that are spreading faster than the floods in Poland, but also the Czech Republic.

The Polish government, together with state security services, is trying to eliminate as soon as possible the targeted spread of disinformation and prevent the spread of panic, which, according to security experts, could be part of the hybrid attacks that are intensifying the war in Ukraine.
