Muhabi Osmani, the father of the deceased, Marigona Osmani, narrated the moment when he realized that his daughter was no longer alive.

Osmani, as reported by the media in Kosovo, while speaking full of emotion about his daughter, said that the moment he saw Marigona's photo, in the state in which she had passed away, "it would have been better if they had killed her".

"When they showed me the photo, it would have been better if they had killed me there, but God gave me strength. I went home, I was with a colleague from work, my wife was waiting for me in the kitchen, the children were there and I told her to pull her away from the children and we entered the other room".

"I said, Valdete, hold on tight, Marigona is dead. Don't cry for the sake of the children, stay. I didn't tell him, I told him it was an accident," he added.

When asked if he had told the investigators who the suspect was, Osmani says that "they told me that we will do this work, and in fact they took him".

"I don't know what made him do that. Let me go like that", he added.

The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Ferizaj, the Department of Serious Crimes in the country announced on Tuesday, June 28, that an indictment has been filed against the defendants Dardan Krivaqa and Arbër Sejdiu, who have been in custody since August 2021, in connection with the murder of Marigona Osmani.
